Application
and Operation Principles
PTC-01
: PTC - 01 is used for the protestion of motor winding(coil)
against overheating. When the coil temperature of motor exceeds PTC, the
limit temperature of PTC, the output relay switches of promptly. When
the coil temperature reaches at the limit temperature intervals the relay
switches on and the LED turns on. Thus, motor starts operating.
MKR-01
: Main problems for industrial type electric motors are the phase-phase
voltage fluctuations and extreme overload occurances. MKR-01 is produced
to remove off such inconveniences. If the phase voltage (R-S-T) are within
the set interval the relay is switched on and the LED turns on. When the
phase-phase voltage difference exceeds %15 of the supply voltage the relay
is switched off, the LED turns off and the motor stops. In case of the
phase-phase voltage difference falls below %15 of the supply voltage the
relay is switched on and the LED is on.
With PTC : The relay switches on when the motor winding temperature (Coil)
exceeds PTC temperature limit the output relay switches off promtly and
the LED turns off. When coil temperature reach at the normal temperature
limit the relay switches on, the LED is on and the motor starts.
MKR-02
: Under voltage variations on any motor winding out of three
phase motors cause unbalanced load. In this circumstances motor may get
a costly damage. MKR-02 is specially designed to protect motors being
used in no neutral systems. (example; marine vessels).
The Relay Switches on and then motor starts when R-S-T phase voltages
are at their normal values. The Relay Switches off and motor stops when
one of the phase voltage drops under the set voltage limit or in case
of phase interruption occurs. The Relay will switch on and then motor
will restart when phases reach at the preset normal voltage valves.
MKR-
04 : It is desing to protect motor windings and to prevent burning
in case of excess phase floatations and interruptions are occured. Motor
switching off voltage is adjustable via a built on asymmetry adjustable
button. Motor overhenting protection is always secured and insured. Relay
motor starts via a contactor being connected into relay contacts. Relay
is switched on when RST voltages are at their normal values.Motor starts
via a contactor being connected into relay contacts. Relay switches off
and then motor stops when phase voltage values are above the limits of
the set voltage values. Relay switches on and motor restarts when phase
voltage reach at normal values. Relay with OTC switches off the motor
when motor internal temperature exceeds the set temperature degree (according
to PTC). Relay will switch on the motor when motor internal heat reaches
at normal temperature degree.
NOTE : PTC ends shall be
short-circuited if PTC not used.
MKR-05
: Main problems for industrial type electric motors are the phase
to phase voltage fluctuations and extreme overload occurrences MKR-05
is designed in principle to eliminate such inconveniences.
Asymmetry : It performs according to the phase-phase
voltage balance. Asymmetry ratio is adjustable upon the choice. The phase-phase
voltage difference can be adjustable in between %5 and %25 of the nominal
voltage. When the phase- phase voltage difference is within the set intervals
the LED is turned on and the relay is switched on. When the phase-phase
voltage difference exceed the set valve the LED turns off and the relay
switches off. The relay will be switched on once the voltage difference
is reached to the set value.
Hysteresis : It is used to adjust input - output voltage
difference in between %1 and %10 of the output voltage.
PTC : Overload causes overheating on the motor coil.
This may be resulted with the destruction of the motor insulation. Consequently
the motor will be under the risk of the burning. PTC is used to protect
motors against overheating.
