Application and Operation Principles

FR-5XX : Photo-electric (Photocell) Relays (FR-5XXX) LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) technologically developed for this purpose. FR-5XXX are commonly used for the lighting systems of garden, garage, streets or shop windows/house doors for photo electrically switching the light ON in time of darkness and switching it OFF in time of daylight. If the light intensity is lower than of the adjusted Lux value, the relay is energized and then starts switching ON at the end of the set time delay. The switch on-off function ranges from 30 to 60 sec and the Lux adjustment ranges between 1 Lux and 10 Lux.
